I'm a Jill of All Trades 🤹🏾♀️ when it comes to design. From logos and brand identities to advertising, motion graphics, and prototypes, I do a little bit of this and a little bit of that!
An Untraditional Designer: Merging Diverse Experiences to Drive Unique Solutions
I have over 10 years of experience in graphic design, but I took a hiatus between 2012 and 2018 to dive into my manufacturing career at Chrysler (now Stellantis). Starting in 2012, I gained valuable experience in a fast-paced environment at JNAP. But even while working on the line, my old clients kept asking, "Nique, when are you going to design again?" That's when I realized how much I missed designing and needed to get back into it.
Fast-forward to today ⏩ I'm still at Stellantis with 12 years under my belt, balancing my role with my passion for design. I'm also finishing my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Digital Media at Southern New Hampshire University (October 2025 🥳🥂) and running my own design business—NiqueDesigns LLC!
My untraditional path from automotive operations to design has equipped me with a unique blend of technical expertise and creative vision, enabling me to deliver impactful, user-focused designs.
Now, I combine everything I've learned—advertising, branding, typography, UX/UI, and a touch of motion graphics—to create meaningful, clean, creative designs for my clients or future employers who are ready to hire a designer like me.

• Crafted the award-winning #CCMonth logo for the Association of Community College Trustees, now featured in a nationwide toolkit for community colleges 🥇
• Semifinalist for the prestigious Jack Cooke Kent Scholarship, recognized as one of two students from Oakland Community College and one of six from Michigan 🥈
• Graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.94 GPA from Oakland Community College with a degree in Graphic Design 👩🏾🎓
• 6x Dean's List at OCC, 6x Honor's List and 2x President's List at SNHU 🧠
• Certified Adobe Professional in Graphic Design, Visual Design, and Illustration and Google UX Design Professional Certificate 👩🏾💻
• Competed in prominent design competitions, including the Detroit Jazz Festival and NISOD, showcasing versatile creative skills 👩🏾🎨
• Grew a social media following to 15,000+, generating over 25.4 million content views and attracting new clients 📈
